LeBryan Nash - NCAA Vegas Odds: Oklahoma State Cowboys vs Texas Tech Red Raiders

The only sub-.500 teams in the Big 12 connect when Oklahoma State Cowboys travels to Texas Tech. At 0-8 in conference play, the Texas Tech Red Raiders are off to quite the trying start in coach Billy Gillispie's first season in Lubbock, having not won a game since Dec. 30.

The Cowboys, on the other hand, have won three conference games but are 0-4 away from Gallagher-Iba Arena. Oklahoma State's LeBryan Nash (13.2) and Texas Tech's Jordan Tolbert (12.4) are two of the top three freshmen scorers in the league.

The Cowboys defeated the Red Raiders 67-59 earlier this season in the conference opener for both teams.

Justbet Sportsbook currently have the Cowboys listed as 4-point favorites versus the Red Raiders.

Oklahoma State Cowboys (10-11): Nash was named the Big 12 Rookie of the Week after averaging 20 points and 5.5 rebounds as the Cowboys went 1-1, including an upset of then-No. 2 Missouri. Nash notched a career-high 27 points in that victory, shooting 12-of-18 from the field and catching fire late in the game. He followed that up with 13 points in a 76-61 loss at Texas A&M. Nash and senior Keiton Page (14.5) are the only two Oklahoma State players averaging in double figures.

Texas Tech Red Raiders (7-13): During the Red Raiders' current eight-game slide, six of the losses have come by double digits, including a 63-50 setback at Missouri on Saturday. Texas Tech actually showed some signs of hope in that loss, though, hanging with the more-talented Tigers deep into the second half. Tolbert is the only player on the roster scoring in double figures, but even he's shown some growing pains lately, averaging just 7.0 points over the past seven losses.

1. Tolbert notched 13 points and 13 rebounds in the last meeting, his most recent double-double.

2. Oklahoma State freshman Brian Williams is shooting 52 percent and averaging 18 points over the last two games.

3. Texas Tech hasn’t topped 60 points since Jan. 7.

BASKETBALL PREDICTION: Cowboys 67, Red Raiders 57.
